The Fall 2005 issue of Ornamentals and Edibles magazine included a colorful article titled 'Meet Mark and Guia Hoffman' by Mary Ellen Smith, focused on our permaculture based gardens. Read article here (large file - 1.5MB).

On February 25, 2009, Mary Ellen Smith wrote 'Home Health and Harvest Come Together in this Kitchen' an article about Guia's cooking published in the Kankakee Journal (large file - 1.5MB).

The April 28, 2008 edition of the Kankakee Journal included an article on Kankakee Community College's sustainability tour which included presentations at the Greenhouse B&B and nearby Stelle. Read article here.

In the spring of 2005, Mark gave a group of professors and agricultural extension agents from the University of Illinois an introductory permaculture talk, including a tour of the gardens at the B&B. Debra Levy Larson, one of the attendees, wrote an article titled 'Listening to the Landscape' based on her visit. The article was published in the Fall 2005 Agro-Ecology Newsletter produced by the Agroecology/Sustainable Agriculture Program of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
