Moore Family Farm - Jim & Diann Moore and Sons, 2013 N 1950 East Rd., Watseka (~40 miles southeast), On their family farm the Moores raise grass-fed beef and lamb, as well as pasture raised Tamworth pork, heritage turkeys & chicken and free range eggs (chicken & duck). They also offer fresh stone ground wheat and corn products milled on the farm, and pesticide free seasonal produce. Items can be purchased directly on the farm. Our neighbors, JoAnn and Dennis Dickman of Herscher (10 miles north) sell super sweet multi-colored sweet corn in the summer and fresh pastured chickens & turkeys as well as fresh brown eggs year round.
