FLOWER PHOTO GALLERY

We hope you enjoy this selection of our flowers as much as we do!

A stunning pink Canna!

The bulbs of these tropical flowers need to be dug in the fall and replanted in the spring. They bloom from mid August until frost.

Helena

This relative of the sunflower provides a burst of color.

Medium red peony.

These grow along the north side of our driveway and bloom in mid June.

Dianthus

These flowers on the south side of our deck have the most fragrant blossoms of any flowers in our yard. Check them out in mid June.

A mixture of columbine and daisies.

Here on the west side of our deck, we plant a wildflower mixture that blooms at different times all summer.

Tulip Tree and Indigo Flowers

These delicate yellow flowers are produced by the tulip tree growing alongside our gazebo. Accompanying them are the lavendar spikes of the indigo plant growing next to our main storage shed.

Red Asters

These hardy asters bloom for 2 months starting in late August.

Snowballs

These flowers grace our front door in May.

Bridal Bouquet

This bouquet was made from gladiolas and Russian sage picked in the B&B gardens.

Gladiolas

Guia's gladiola bed near the front walkway.

Flower Mixture

This circular bed greets visitors just below the front door of the B&B.

Russian Sage

This hardy plant blooms in late summer.

Lilacs

Our well-established lilac grove spreads its gentle fragrance across the back yard in May.

Phlox

These wild purple phlox are right at home under the red oak in the front yard.

Dendrobium Orchid

One of Guia's many orchids decorating our sunroom.

Peonies

This row of pink peonies along the driveway produces 500-700 blossoms per year.

Phlox Flower Bed

These late summer phlox next to the gazebo bloom soon after the Asian lillies that are planted within their midst.

Pink Peony

The picture is as gentle as its fragrance.

Rose of Sharon

These prolific flowers line the front walkway - blooming during two months of summer.

Rose Acacia

This unusual (an sometimes invasive) flower blooms twice during its growing season, displaying a flower similar in shape to that of a garden pea.

Table Centerpiece

One of Guia's many flower arrangements created from gladiolus, phlox, and asparagus from the B&B gardens.

Orchid

This is the flower of Guia's most unusual orchid.

Water Iris

These hardy flowers surround the lily pond at the B&B.

White Peonies

This variety of peony is the most fragrant, reminiscent of a citrus blossom.

Wild Daisies

These hardy plants grow vigorously and blossom for months with little care.
