THE FIRE PIT
In the summer of 2004 we created a small fire pit adjacent to the lily pond. The pit is tucked in and under a small grove of black locust trees to the east, a hackberry tree to the west, and a dignified arborvitae to the south. The flames provide a magical experience on a moonlit night, especially when the coyotes howl in the distance.
